I've been a creator my whole life — artist, writer, endlessly curious person who reads everything and makes things constantly. Before Young Dreamers Press, I worked in comics. That world shaped how I think about visual storytelling, about collaborating with artists, and about what it means to put something in someone's hands that they actually want to engage with.

In 2018, I launched Young Dreamers Press as an independent publisher. I started with colouring books and notebooks — formats I understood instinctively as a visual artist and could bring to market quickly. But I'm not someone who stays in one lane for long.

The activity books came later, and honestly, they're where Young Dreamers Press became what it is. I wanted to make something more challenging — for me to create and for kids to experience. Not just a maze book. Not just a word search. Something with real variety, where a child could flip to any page and find something different — a puzzle, a creative challenge, something that made them think and something that made them laugh. I loved coming up with those puzzles. I worked with a team of talented artists to bring them to life, and that creative director role is still very much how I work today.

Every title in the catalog — colouring books, activity books, notebooks, printables — is built on the same belief: kids learn best when they're creating, not consuming. Creativity should feel like play. Learning should feel like fun. And none of it needs a screen.
